THE 2027 IMMERSION
Our next Shamanic Way of the Womb® Facilitator Training Immersion will be held 23–30 May 2027 at EarthSpirit Centre, near Glastonbury.
Seven days together in the sacred landscape of Avalon, journeying deeply through the Shamanic Way of the Womb® — healing, learning, ceremony, embodied practice and the art of holding space for others.

The Sanctuary of Sophia has always been rooted in passing wisdom from woman to woman, heart to heart, womb to womb.
As this work continues to grow, I’m delighted to be teaching alongside Sanctuary Facilitators Luna and Kim, who have each walked this path with devotion and integrity. Together we will be holding those 7 day facilitator training, weaving ceremony, trauma-informed practice, embodies teaching and the ancient wisdom of the womb into a deeply held learning experince.
The Path of the Womb Healer
There comes a moment of the path where the call deepens.
When healing is no longer something we simply receive, but something we embody…and share out to others.
This facilitator training is an invitation to that threshold place.
Held at EarthSpirit, in the sacred lands of Somerset near Glastonbury, this 7-night immersion this 7 day immersion opens a space to walk the Path through the Shamanic Way of the Womb teachings.
You will be guided through the Medicine Wheel teachings the 8 Womb Gates, layers of feminine embodiment, working with the body, the breath, and the unseen threads that weave through our lived experience.
This is not a passive retreat.
It is a lived, embodied training immersion.
A weaving of grounded learning, somatic practice and ceremonial space. When healing is no longer something we simply receive, but something we begin to embody….and share with others.
No prior experience is required – only a readiness to step into deeper healing and facilitation.
Spaces are limited to maintain a deeply held and supported group container.

This 7-night residential immersion is for women ready to deepen into womb healing, embodiment and facilitation.
You will journey through the Shamanic Way of the Womb® Medicine Wheel, the 8 Womb Gates, breath, body, energetic pathways, ceremony and embodied practice.
This is both a deeply personal healing immersion and a professional facilitator training — offering space to receive the work, embody it and learn how to hold it safely for others.

EarthSpirit sits within the sacred landscape of Somerset, close to Glastonbury and the ancient Isle of Avalon.
Surrounded by nature, this is a place to step away from daily life and enter a deeper rhythm of healing, learning and embodiment.
The land itself becomes part of the immersion… supporting us to ground, listen and reconnect with the deeper layers of the womb, body and soul.

A £244 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place once your application has been accepted.
The remaining balance can be paid in full or through an agreed payment plan before the retreat.
Because accommodation, catering and venue costs are committed in advance, deposits are non-refundable.
This immersion is for women who feel called to deepen their own healing and embodiment, and who are also interested in learning how to hold this work for others.
You may already work as a therapist, healer, coach, yoga teacher, bodyworker, birth worker or women’s practitioner — or you may simply be at the beginning of this path.
You do not need previous experience in womb work. What matters most is a genuine readiness to engage deeply with the work, learn within a group and develop the skills to facilitate with care and integrity.
This immersion is about far more than learning techniques. You will develop greater confidence, presence and practical skill in holding deep healing spaces for women.
Throughout the training, you will learn not only what to facilitate, but how to recognise trauma responses, understand the core wounds of the Maiden, Lover, Mother and Crone, and hold emotional processes with confidence, compassion and integrity.
Alongside your own personal healing journey, you will leave with a deeper understanding of group facilitation, trauma-informed practice and embodied feminine leadership.
Following the Facilitator Training Immersion, women can continue to deepen their practice through additional Sanctuary of Sophia CPD trainings.

This gives you a chance to ask questions and for us to make sure the retreat feels like the right fit for you.
Yes. This facilitator training welcomes women from a wide range of backgrounds, whether you are beginning your journey or already working as a therapist, healer, coach, yoga teacher, bodyworker, birth worker or women’s practitioner.
You do not need previous experience in womb work. What matters most is a genuine calling to deepen your own healing, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to supporting other women with compassion and integrity.
Because places are intentionally limited, every participant receives personal guidance and support throughout the retreat.
A £244 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place once offered.
Because this is a small residential immersion with limited places, accommodation, catering and teaching costs are committed in advance.
If you later need to withdraw, any payments made beyond the deposit will be handled in line with the full booking terms provided before you confirm your place.
We will always do our best to be fair and transparent, but the £244 deposit itself is non-refundable.
